Description
The N1 Deck Jacket kept US Navy sailors warm on wind-swept decks in the Atlantic and the Pacific during the Second World War. Pike Brothers rebuilds it to the original construction in Bangor Green, a dark green that wears in beautifully.
Made for the cold
The outer is Jungle Cloth, a tightly woven cotton that cuts the wind. Inside, a woven wool lining holds the warmth, and knitted cuffs hidden in the sleeves stop cold air from creeping up the arms, a real advantage on the bike. It closes with a vintage Talon zip and carries a spec label true to the original.
Fit advice
Take your usual size to wear it over a sweater, or one size down for a closer fit.
