Crafter Jacket HBT Brown — Pike Brothers Jacket 1948

Description

Herringbone twill, or HBT, was the fabric of US Army work and fatigue uniforms in the 1940s: tough, breathable and recognisable by its zigzag weave. The Crafter Jacket uses a 398 g/m² cotton HBT woven on an old shuttle loom, which gives a denser, more irregular surface than modern high-speed weaving.

A chore jacket for every day

Three outer pockets and one inside, stone nut buttons, a straight and comfortable cut: a jacket for the workshop, over a hoodie on cool mornings, or with jeans in town. The fabric is pre-washed, so it will not shrink further.

Fit advice

Take your usual size; the straight cut leaves room for a sweater underneath.
