Riding position

Forward pegs open the position and spare your back on the road; a mid mount keeps control in town. So measure the spacing of your plates before ordering, because dimensions vary from one model to another.

Grip and wear

The contact surfaces are machined, not rubber coated: they hold a boot without deforming and never harden in the cold. On the other hand, they pass on more vibration. A soft seat pad and thick soled boots make up for it easily.

Upkeep

A little grease on the pivots is enough to keep the action smooth. Then check the screws after the first hundred kilometres, as with any new part. Brass comes back with a soft cloth, without abrasive products.
