KustomTech Clamps and Micro Switches

KustomTech clamps micro switches hold the lever, the cable or the brake contact on the handlebar. They carry the shape and finish of the Deluxe line, in aluminium or brass, so they disappear into the build instead of clashing with it.

What KustomTech clamps and micro switches do

A clamp takes the load from the lever and passes it to the bar without marking the tube. The micro switch cuts the brake light as soon as the lever moves, with no visible box and no exposed wire. That is the usual answer once the stock contact is gone.

Picking the right size

Measure your handlebar diameter at the exact mounting point, because some tubes are thicker in the middle. Common sizes are 25.4 and 22 mm. A thin shim can take up a slight gap, but it never replaces the correct reference.

Fitting

Tighten gradually, alternating both screws so the clamp stays square. A medium thread lock is enough to hold over time. Then check that the lever returns freely, with no stiff point at the end of its travel.

Brake light safety

A micro switch that sticks leaves the light on permanently, which burns the bulb and misleads other road users. So check it after every lever adjustment, then once a season. A little dielectric grease on the terminals keeps corrosion away.

Ordering and lead time

The five references are in stock in France and leave within forty-eight hours. As these are small parts, postage stays low and delivery is quick. If you hesitate between two handlebar sizes, order both: the one that does not fit can be returned within fourteen days, unfitted.

These 5 references belong to the KustomTech custom motorcycle parts range. See also the Deluxe handlebar switches. Official dimensions are published on the Kustom Tech website.
