How to care for raw selvedge denim

Wait 6 months before the first wash to allow honest fading. Then cold wash inside-out (30°C max), no detergent, line-dry. Avoid the tumble dryer. The denim will develop unique fades around the knees, back pockets and crotch — that is the soul of selvedge.
