Finding the right height for KustomTech risers

Two centimetres already change how your upper body sits. So measure your current height, then compare it with the stated figure. A riser that is too tall closes the angle of your arms and tires the shoulders on the motorway.

Cables and hoses

A tall riser stretches the clutch cable, the brake hose and the loom. So check the available length on full lock, on both sides. Extending a hose costs less than replacing it in a hurry.

Mounting

The dimensions follow the common Harley-Davidson spacing. Tighten gradually, alternating the screws, with a medium thread lock. Then check that the bar does not turn in the clamps after the first few kilometres.

Material and style

Solid brass weighs more and takes on a patina; anodised aluminium stays stable and discreet. Match them to your grips and clamps to keep a consistent line.

Compatible handlebars

The range is built for 25.4 mm, the most common size on Harley-Davidson. Reducers let you fit a 22 mm tube. Measure with a caliper rather than trusting the maker catalogue.
