Kustom tuck & roll padded top, old school perforations, two nickel-plated buckle straps and an inner rain flap, with around 8.5 litres of storage. Hold Fast’s finest single side bag

The Master Leather Deluxe is the most refined bag to come out of the Hold Fast workshop. Its trapezoid shape, tall at the front and sloping towards the rear, follows the line of the seat and sits neatly in the rear triangle of the bike without breaking its silhouette.

The top of the flap is padded with horizontal ribs, inspired by 1950s tuck & roll custom seats, finished with a wave-shaped edge and visible stitching. A row of alternating large and small perforations runs along the flap down to its tip. Two thick leather closing straps, with creased edges and pointed tips, fasten on nickel-plated buckles.

Built for the road

8.5 litres is enough for a full day’s ride: rain suit, tool roll, disc lock, gloves, papers and phone. The leather inner flap keeps rain and dust away from your gear. The interior is left as raw leather, so there is no lining to tear or hold moisture, and the D-rings let you hook a bungee cord or a pair of gloves.

Mounting

The flat, rigid back panel carries two adjustable leather straps that buckle around the frame tube or swingarm. No drilling and no extra bracket required.

On the right-hand side the bag sits on the exhaust side: keep a few centimetres of clearance from the mufflers, or fit a heat shield, and check clearance with the rear tyre. Not sure it fits? Send us a photo of the right side of your bike and we will confirm before you order.

Dimensions

Care

Feed the leather with a leather grease or balm two or three times a year, especially before winter. If it gets soaked, let it dry naturally, away from any heat source. Over the miles, the leather develops a patina unique to each bag.

FAQ

Is it waterproof?
The inner flap protects the contents well from rain while riding, but the bag is not designed to be submerged. Well-maintained leather resists water better.

Can it be mounted on the left side?
Its shape is designed for the right-hand side. Contact us if you are looking for a left-side version.

Why does my bag look slightly different from the photos?
Natural leather and handmade construction mean grain and shine vary slightly from one piece to the next. That is the mark of real craftsmanship.
