The maintenance of denim recommended by Pike-Brothers :
The denim used is raw indigo dyed and selvage edged, which means it is unwashed, deep blue, stiff, strong and rich in structure.

When it comes off the loom it is like a diamond in the rough, it must be worked and worn to develop its full beauty.

There are many approaches to how to wear and care for your jeans, but in general, jeans should be worn for as long as possible before being washed for the first time – ideally about 3-6 months. Only by avoiding water does the indigo stay in the fabric longer, allowing you to develop your very own jeans through daily wear;

they will adapt to your body over time gaining unique character marks that make them like the family or dear friends that accompany you throughout life sharing all your good (and bad) times.
